Foreigners of Chinese Origin gets Extended Visitor Visa

Foreigners of Chinese origin will now get more extended visitor visas. The government of China increased the multiple entry visa duration from one year to five years. This new improvement falls in line with Canada’s family reunification. The Ministry of Public Security announced the news on January 22nd, 2018.

It only proves that China is growing and becoming more sociable, which is a great sign if we want the strong international relationships with other countries. Along with this announcement, the Ministry of Public Security also declared that citizens of China can apply for entry-exit certificates at their nearest local police office. In 2017, China had over 598 million exits and entries. The count was up by 4.76 percent from the last year. People in China are becoming more mobile and traveling all around the country. After all, China is very beautiful, isn’t it? Over 292 million trips were made to mainland China in 2017, up by around 6.73 percent than the previous year.

The tourism sector in China has always been strong, but now the country is going beyond its comfort zone and inviting people from all around the world. In November 2017, China opened a visa center in Beirut, Lebanon. The center will handle daily processing of Chinese visas. In the recent years, the relationship between Lebanon and China is strengthening. Every year, more than 10,000 visas are issued to Lebanese citizens. Opening the visa application center has further made the process more convenient and faster.

Connection between Hong Kong and Barbados

Citizens of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China will now get to travel to Barbados without a visa for up to 90 days. The exceptional service came into force in October 2017. After adding Barbados, the number of countries Chinese citizens of Hong Kong can travel without a visa increase to 159.
