Just a few hours before being deported back to his home country, Fiji, an intellectually challenged man granted New Zealand residency. When Sagar Narayan’s visa expired in April 2017, his renewal was rejected and was told to leave the country by October 27th, 2017. This is when the newly-elected Kris Faafoi, Associate Minister of Immigration, took up the case and stopped Narayan’s deportation.....
