USCIS: Confirms New Electronic H-1B Registration System for FY 2021

United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (U.S.C.I.S) has confirmed recently that it will execute the brand-new electronic H-1B registration system for the forthcoming cap season. Organizations that are seeking to file an application under the cap are subject to US H-1B appeals and the appeals will be needed to register electronically for each applicant selection in the financial year 2021 (FY2021) lottery. The first electronic registration tenure will run from 1 March 2020, through 20 March 2020.

Considering that the number of enrollments exceeds the quota, United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (U.S.C.I.S) will then run the lottery based on the submissions provided electronic mode. Only those applicants selected in the lottery will be entitled to have their employers provide a full US H-1B appeal on their behalf to the U.S.C.I.S for adjudication.

Procedure for New  Electronic H-1B Registration System

The opening registration needs basic details about their employer in the USA, the applicant, and the possible position. Companies need to pay a $10 registration fee for each H-1B candidate. United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (U.S.C.I.S) has announced that it will produce further information regarding the registration process and also submission process as the primary registration period approaching in a very short span of time. In the rare event that the US H-1B quota is not reached through the primary registration period, United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (U.S.C.I.S) will provide further guidance to firms that how firms can provide additional registrations to the new electronic US H-1B registration system.
