3,900 Express Entry applicants obtained invitations to apply for Canadian PR in the 127th Federal Express Entry draw held on 02 October 2019. The minimum required cut-off CRS score for this draw was 464.
The present Express Entry draw observed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 464, a small increase from the previous Invitation round’s CRS cut-off of 462. In spite of the two-point increase in the CRS score, 3,900 applicants were announced with an invitation to apply (ITA) in this round and this is the largest amount of invited appellants that we have noticed since 23 January 2019.
In the 10 Federal Express Entry draws that followed suite, the number of I.T.As announced had fallen to 3,350, except for a Federal Skilled Trades (FST) special draw conducted in May 2019 where only 500 applicants received an ITA. In July 2019, the I.R.C.C raised the number the invitations to apply to 3,600.
This week’s significant spike in invitations to apply now brings the entire numbers of ITAs announced in the year 2019 to 67,300. With Canada’s aim of welcoming greater than one million immigrants in the subsequent three years, we can expect the number of ITAs announced in the future draws to remain to be large. If you are curious about making Canada as your forever home, now continues the most suitable time to begin!
